Malang, (18/05) Faculty of Engineering, University of Muhammadiyah Malang again received a school visit, this time from SMA Negeri 1 Majalengka. The activity was held at the Dome Theater on May 18, 2022. At the event, the Deputy Dean III of the Faculty of Engineering, Zamzami Septiropa, ST., MT., Ph.D, and the Head of Electrical Engineering Study Program, Khusnul Hidayat, ST., MT. Meanwhile, Endi Affandi, S.Pd was present as a representative of SMAN 1 Majalengka. The event was lively with several Ice Breakings, including the search for interests and talents filled by the Faculty PMB team. In addition, there are prizes in the form of pulse vouchers for students who are actively asking and giving opinions.
Endi Affandi said that the first impression after being accepted at UMM was that the campus atmosphere was very comfortable, cool, and fun. "We are very happy to be given the opportunity to visit UMM. This campus is very beautiful, and in it there are many outstanding young people who excel. This exceeded my expectations," said Endi. Meanwhile, Zamzami appealed to students not to be afraid to choose a private campus, because the quality is not inferior to other public universities. "At UMM, you are prepared to become a person who excels. Our motto is 'UMM Definitely', you must graduate on time, you must be independent, and you will definitely get a job after graduation. We have proven these three with many collaborations with DUDI," added Zamzami.
The visit ended with a tour of the students to several strategic locations of the Faculty of Engineering, including the Micro-Hydro Power Plant (PLTMH), Mechatronic and Robotic LSO Stands.
