Various solidarity efforts were carried out by various groups to raise funds to help people affected by Covid-19. The impact of Covid-19 itself triggers a sense of humanity, not only from the 'were', but from the students as well. One of them is a student from the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM), Muhammad Iswansyah, who initiated social crowdfunding called “Kaltara Bersama”.

"Kaltara Bersama is a social crowdfunding program that collects and manages the results of fundraising to be distributed into food boxes or staples with perfect nutrition for those who are affected by Covid-19 and still need help from many people," said Iswansyah, the team coordinator. , contacted Friday (26/6). Iswansyah and his teammates are currently participating in the UMM Student Community Service (PMM) program.

This Civil Engineering Study Program student added that gotong royong made the burden lighter. Therefore, the idea emerged so that the burden on the community affected by Covid-19 could be reduced. In the process of making it, explained the student from the city of Tanjung Selor, he was assisted by his friends from various regions. They are Selvy Athia Zainun Faqiha, Mufid Zukhruf Bahtiar, Chechyl M.p.m., and Asyifah Aulia Putri Ramadhina.

The presence of Kaltara Bersama will make it easier for people who want to share. Donors can go directly to the KaltaraBersama.com website. Several fields will appear that must be filled in such as name, donation amount, phone number, or email that serves to get a confirmation receipt of donation payment. If you have made a payment, the donor does not need to confirm the payment because it will be checked automatically through the last three digits of the nominal.

"I say thank you very much to UMM for implementing the PMM program. This Covid-19 pandemic challenges all of us to innovate how to build information technology about dealing with disasters in the North Kalimantan area," said Santiaji. He then advised that this collaboration can run smoothly and responsibly. Santiaji on the sidelines of his duties also hoped that the collaboration between UMM and BPBD could shift to further cooperation.

There is something unique about the Kaltara Bersama website compared to other fundraising sites. In addition to distributing the donations in the form of a box of food or basic ingredients with perfect nutrition, they will also post/provide informative positive news related to the handling of Covid-19 on the box to overcome the negative psychological effects of Covid-19. The public can also provide information regarding people who are entitled to assistance.
