Malang (9/12), the National Coordination Meeting (Rakornas) of Aptikom (Informatics and Computer Higher Education Association) was successfully held by the Informatics Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Muhammadiyah University of Malang (UMM). As host, UMM held the event grandly at the UMM Dome and GKB IV UMM on 7-9 December 2023.
This event was attended by more than 700 participants from various universities that are members of Aptikom. This year's Aptikom National Coordination Meeting presents a series of activities involving stakeholders in the field of informatics and computer higher education.
General Chairman of Aptikom, Prof. Dr. Achmad Benny M.Q.N., was present as the main speaker and provided direction regarding the direction of development and collaboration that could be carried out among Aptikom members. Apart from that, the Chancellor of UMM, Prof. Dr. Fauzan, M.Pd., was also present at the event, providing full support for Aptikom's initiatives and development efforts.
The Aptikom National Coordination Meeting not only focused on the main agenda but also involved signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the various universities and institutions present. This aims to increase cooperation and exchange of knowledge between these institutions.
One of the highlights of the Aptikom National Coordination Meeting was the holding of the International Seminar ICIC (International Conference on Informatics and Computer). This seminar discusses the latest developments in the field of informatics and computers, by presenting expert speakers from within and outside the country.
Not only that, the event also featured a National Seminar (SEMNASTIC) which provided a platform for academics, researchers, and practitioners to present the latest research results and thoughts in the field of informatics and computers.
During the event, the atmosphere became more lively with a bazaar featuring innovative products, art performances, and sponsorship stands from several leading companies and campuses in the fields of technology and informatics.
Prof. Dr. Achmad Benny M.Q.N. stated, "This year's Aptikom National Coordination Meeting is an important momentum to strengthen synergy among Aptikom members and improve the quality of informatics and computer higher education in Indonesia."
UMM Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Fauzan, M.Pd., added, "We are proud to host this event and hope that through activities like this, we can continue to collaborate to create a better educational environment and encourage innovation in the field of information technology."
The 2023 Aptikom National Coordination Meeting can be considered a complete success, creating positive momentum for the progress of informatics and computer higher education in Indonesia.
