There exist several research groups in the Faculty of Engineering are listed below:

o    Renewable Energy

A research group that investigates topics related to new and renewable energy such as power electronics and control systems in micro hydro power plants, solar energy, and wind power; solar cell materials; energy efficient buildings; smart-grid, hybrid micro-grid, DC house, low rotation generator, micro hydro turbine design, etc.

o    Control & Robotics

Research group that studies and develops topics related to robot technology for medical and surveillance purposes.

o    Electric Vehicle

Research group that studies and develops topics related to electric vehicles technology for future transportation needs.

o    Biomedical

Research group that studies and develops topics related to medical technology for disease screening and prevention. 

o    IoT & Data Science

Research group that studies and develops topics related to the application of IoT and Data Science for biomedical, energy, structure, and natural disaster purposes. 

o    Building and Bridge

Research group that studies and develops topics related to building and bridge technology. 

o   Supply Chain and Logistics

Research group that studies and develops topics related to smart supply chain and smart & halal logistics.
