Wednesday, February 5, 2014 electrical engineering lecturers and informatics engineering held workshop related about D3 electrical engineering study program that is new study program in Engineering Faculty UMM. The theme that was raised is “Menuju Kurikulum berbasis Kompetensi dan KKNI (Kerangka Kualifikasi Nasional Indonesia)”. This event also invited Yan Watequlis Syaifudin, ST. MMT as head of D3 Informatics Management Department Polinema(State Polytechnic of Malang) and also Ir. Eri Ramadhan Hidayat, MM as the Manager of IM2 Indosat East Java Area.
This event was begun by speech from Ir. Sudarman as Dean of Engineering Faculty UMM then continued with the speaker Yan Watequlis Syaifudin, ST. MMT. First material that was discussed is introducing about KKNI (Indonesian Qualification Framework) and the material. In discussion curriculum base on complex should be balanced by KKNI for Human Resource rescue because of the foreign workers. Besides that, this event also discussed about the definition of the Past Recognition Learning. In this case it is possible the graduated D3 program become SI without learning in college because it has got the learning trough the work in world work and the established provision to fulfill certification that is recognition of equality in education. After discussion about KKNI then continued with discussion time and question and answer session about new study program D3 Electrical Network Communication Engineering and about KKNI. In this discussion more focused on determining the policy for the lecturer in electrical engineering UMM about the conducting of D3 Electrical Engineering program. The second event was delivered by Ir. Eri Ramadhan Hidayat, MM also closed that workshop.
