Malang, May 6, 2024 – Proud news comes from the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM). The Semi-Autonomous Institution (LSO) Surya Team of the Faculty of Engineering UM has won 3rd place in the prestigious International BIM Innovation Contest (CEIC) XII 2024. This The competition was held by Diponegoro University on May 5, 2024.
This achievement is the result of the hard work and dedication of all members of the LSO Surya Team. The General Chairperson of the LSO Surya Team, Viego Dwi, expressed his joy at this achievement. "We are very grateful for this achievement. This is the result of the hard work and dedication of the entire team. We are also very grateful for the full support and support given by the supervisors and the Deputy Dean for Field III of FT UMM, Mr. Zamzami Septiropa, ST., MT., Ph.D.," he said.
The LSO Surya Team has had brilliant achievements in the field of Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology innovation. Previously, they have also won various awards at the national and international levels. Viego Dwi stated that his team is ready to compete again in other international competitions.
"This achievement is a motivation for us to continue working and innovating in the BIM field. We want to bring the name of UMM and Indonesia to the international arena," he said.
