Study Program (Study Program) Informatics Faculty of Engineering, University of Muhamadiyah Malang (UMM) succeeded in achieving accreditation A (very good) after previously only ranked B (good) in 2014. This announcement was released by the National Higher Education Accreditation Agency (BAN-PT) on 6 November 2019 then.

The goal is that we better prepare the forms data carefully, "said Gita Indah Marthasari, S.T., M.Kom, chair of the Informatics Engineering Study Program (Kaprodi) of UMM.

Currently the Informatics Engineering Study Program is at the stage of achieving national competitiveness. "The target that we want to reach is how we internationalize, which means human resources such as lecturers, employees and students must also be internationalized," said Gita, Tuesday (12/11).

Having 1500 students of Informatics Engineering Study Program, Gita has hopes for all her students to graduate on time and work in their respective fields of expertise. Given the Informatics Engineering Study Program has four concentration profiles, namely game developers, data scientists, software engineering and network administrators.

Going forward, in 2020 the Informatics Engineering Study Program will follow international accreditation from the Indonesia Accreditation Board for Engineering Education (IABEE) which is an independent accreditation, established as part of the Indonesian Engineers Association and assisted by the Japan Accreditation Board for Engineering Education.
