Malang, April 27, 2024 - Good news comes from the Faculty of Engineering, University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM). A total of 7 students from 3 study programs at the UMM Faculty of Engineering have successfully obtained funding for the 2024 Student Entrepreneurship Development Program (P2MW) organized by the Directorate General of Higher Education (Ditjen Dikti).
This achievement is the result of the hard work and dedication of the students in developing their creative ideas into promising start-up businesses.
Of the 7 students who passed, 1 came from the Industrial Engineering study program, 2 from Electrical Engineering, and 4 from Informatics Engineering. They competed with hundreds of students from various universities throughout Indonesia and succeeded in showing their extraordinary potential in the field of entrepreneurship.
Overall, UMM has succeeded in passing 19 prospective young entrepreneurs in the 2024 P2MW program. This achievement places UMM in the leading position along with IPB, UNY, and UNNES, as the university with the largest number of P2MW graduates among other PTM/PTMA.
This success is proof of UMM's commitment to encouraging and fostering the younger generation to become successful and innovative entrepreneurs. UMM provides various programs and mentoring to help its students realize their dreams of building their own businesses.
With the right support and mentoring from UMM, these outstanding students are expected to become role models for other younger generations and contribute to the nation's economic progress.
