University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) in collaboration with the Ministry of Communication and Information (Kominfo) of the Republic of Indonesia (RI) held 2019 Digital Talent Scholarship (DTS) in the form of training and certification of digital talents on July 1 - August 20, 2019 which took place at Campus 3 UMM.
UMM was appointed as one of the representatives of universities in Indonesia from a total of 32 universities in Indonesia. UMM held the 2019 DTS competition training program with the Fresh Learning Academy (FGA) Machine Learning scheme, which would provide training to a total of 100 participants who had previously been selected. The FGA scheme is intended for graduates of D3, D4 and S1 in the ICT (or related) field.
The DTS 2019 program is a human resource development program implemented by the Ministry of Communication and Information as part of the development priorities of national priorities, improving the skills (up-skilling) of Human Resources in Communication and Information Technology so as to increase productivity and competitiveness of the nation in the face of the industrial revolution 4.0.
