Wednesday, February 2014 was the great day for UMM Engineering Faculty because the faculty held Judicium for the 1st Period of 2014. On this period, the faculty graduated 120 alumni included Machine Engineering Dept (18), Civil Engineering Dept (16), Electrical Engineering Dept (15), Industrial Engineering Dept (10), and Informatics Dept (61). The best graduates from each departments were Selly Ryansyah (1st place) from Mechanical Engineering Dept with grade 3,73 in 3 years 6 month study period, Rini Dwi Safitri (2nd) and Ruri Asman (3,72) both from Informatics Engineering Dept with the grade 3,79 and 3,72 respectively.
Ir. Sudarman, MT. also did not forget to advice the graduates. He appealed them to have high creativity skill and discipline in order to plunge into professional work so that they can compete with other competitors out there.
The best graduates of UMM Engineering Faculty also was asked to give message and impression during her college period in UMM. Selly conveyed her gratitude to all of the lecturers and also her friends during her time in this campus. Moreover, she also persuaded other graduates to keep on preparing their self in order to face the work field.
The event was closed by Yani Santi D, ST who gave such motivation and spirit to all graduates so that they can get their own vision and view in pursuing each desire career in the future. Yani graduated from UMM Civil Engineering Dept and now he takes such important position on his company. He mentioned the success keys and also the history of his first step in pursuing career as well as pumped their spirit up, so that they can be brave to take challenge in the other areas. Yani also wished that the UMM Technical Engineering Faculty graduates can be competitive individual in the work world.
