The Faculty of Engineering, University of Muhammadiyah Malang held a workshop to supervise the Student Creativity Program (PKM) to improve the quality and quantity of student research. This event was held in the Faculty of Engineering Meeting Room and was attended by lecturers from the Faculty of Engineering.
The workshop was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Ir. Ilyas Masudin, ST., M.LogSCM., Ph.D., and aims to provide participants with in-depth insight and understanding regarding strategies and tips for success in preparing and implementing PKM.
The first material was delivered by Mrs. Ir. Nur Alif Mardiyah, MT., who discussed "Dissection of PKM Schemes, Titles and Proposals". In this session, participants were invited to better understand the structure and key elements that must be present in a PKM, as well as tips for formulating attractive titles and strong proposals.
The second material was delivered by Mr. Soni Andriawan, S.Pi., M.P., with the topic "Strategy for Guiding PKM to Pass PIMNAS and Become Champions". In this material, participants are invited to understand effective strategies for guiding students so that their PKM can compete at the national level and achieve success as champions.
Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Ilyas Masudin, ST., M.LogSCM., Ph.D., said, "This workshop is a strategic step for the Faculty of Engineering to support the development of the quality of student research. With a deep understanding of PKM, it is hoped that students can produce research that is innovative and useful for the public."
This event also provides an opportunity for participants to interact and exchange experiences with resource persons and gain a broad view of the role of PKM in the development of science and technology. It is hoped that this workshop can be the first step towards increasing the role of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Muhammadiyah Malang in supporting student academic achievement.
