Malang (15/9), the Faculty of Engineering, University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) held a coordination meeting in preparation for welcoming the new academic year, Odd Semester 2023/2024. The event took place on Friday, September 15, 2023, in the UMM Engineering Faculty Meeting Room.
This event began with a presentation by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Ilyas Masudin, M.LogSCM., Ph.D. Prof. Ilyas conveyed the vision and mission of the Faculty of Engineering and presented plans and strategies to face the new academic year which will start soon. He also highlighted the important role of the Faculty of Engineering in supporting the development of science and technology.
The presentation from the Dean was then continued by Deputy Dean I, Zulfatman, M.Eng., Ph.D., who discussed plans to establish a master's study program at the Faculty of Engineering. Deputy Dean II, Ir. Gita Indah Marthasari, S.Kom., M.Kom, also provided views on the plans and preparations for accreditation of each study program under the auspices of the Faculty of Engineering.
One of the main points that was focused on in this meeting was the general provisions of lectures. In facing the new semester, the UMM Faculty of Engineering is committed to providing the best learning experience to students by ensuring that all procedures and policies related to lectures have been prepared properly.
Prof. Ilyas Masudin, Dean of the UMM Faculty of Engineering, stated, "This coordination is an important first step in preparing for the new academic year. We want to ensure that all study programs in the Faculty of Engineering are ready to welcome new students and provide high-quality education."
This meeting also became a discussion forum between leaders and academic staff of the UMM Faculty of Engineering to exchange ideas and share experiences to maintain and improve the quality of education at this university.
