Malang (7/9), Faculty of Engineering, University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) together with BINUS University as a co-host successfully held the 3rd International Conference on Technology, Informatics, and Engineering (ICon-TINE 2023). This prestigious event took place on Thursday, September 7, 2023, at Rayz Hotel UMM, Malang, Indonesia. The conference will feature 13 Main Topics covering various aspects of technology and science, including Mechatronic and robotic, Computational Intelligence, Data Science, Game Technology, Electrical and Control Engineering, Statistical Physics and Nonlinear Systems, Instrumentation and Measurement, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Informatics, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Condensed Matter: Electrical, Magnetic, and Optical.

According to the organizing committee, a total of 122 articles have been received from leading researchers and academics from at least 5 countries, namely Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Poland, and Taiwan, and will be presented at this conference. These articles reflect the latest contributions in the fields of technology, informatics, and engineering from various international perspectives. At this event, Icon-TINE 2023 was attended by several experienced Keynote Speakers, including Mr. Prof. Masatoshi Tsuchiya from Toyohashi University of Technology, Japan, Assoc Mr. Prof. Grzegorz Kołaczek from Wrocław University of Science and Technology, Poland, and Mr. Amrul Faruq, Ph.D. from University of Muhammadiyah Malang, Indonesia. In addition, there are Invited Speakers such as Mr. Abdelmalek Taoutioui, Ph.D. (Researcher at Institute of Nuclear Research, Debrecen Hungary), Mrs. Novera Istiqomah, Ph.D. (Postdoctoral Researcher at Nagoya Institute of Technology), and Mrs. Dr. Lala Ayu Kantari (Vice President of ISCEA Indonesia) who will provide valuable insights in this conference.

The report from the General Chair, Mr. Setio Basuki, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., shows that preparations for this conference are quite complete, and they are very excited to welcome participants from various countries. Welcome speech from Mr. Prof. Ir. Ilyas Masudin, M.LogSCM., Ph.D., Dean of the UMM Faculty of Engineering, underlined the importance of international collaboration in advancing knowledge and innovation in the fields of technology and engineering.

It is hoped that Icon-TINE 2023 will be an ideal platform for researchers, academics, and industry practitioners to share ideas, discuss the latest developments, and expand their professional networks.
