Performing Perfectly at the KRSRI Event, UMM Dome Robot Team Won 1st Place

Semarang (25/6), the LSO Robotics Team of Muhammadiyah University of Malang again recorded gold ink at the prestigious National event. The latest achievement was obtained at the Indonesian SAR Robotics Competition at Semarang University. The Dome UMM team that was deployed won first place, defeating several teams from well-known universities in Indonesia. This predicate further strengthens the UMM team as one of the mecca in the field of technology, especially in the field of Robotics.

In the final round, Dome UMM met the robotics team from Universitas of Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS). The fierce battle between the two teams tested the speed, accuracy, and durability of the robot in a search and rescue (SAR) simulation. The UMM Dome team managed to perform brilliantly and finally took first place with an impressive score of 1900. The UMM Dome team consists of three talented students from the Faculty of Engineering UMM. Ahmad Syauqi Ramadhan and Muhammad Aditya Dzikra (both from Electrical Engineering) and M. Darma Putra Ramadhan from the Computer Science study program. They work together synergistically in designing and developing robots that can answer various challenges in the Indonesian SAR robot competition.

One of the keys to the success of the UMM DOME team is also obtained thanks to the valuable guidance and full support of the Steering Team, namely Electrical Engineering Lecturers at Muhammadiyah University of Malang. Mr. Khusnul Hidayat, ST, MT, Mr. Novendra Setyawan, ST, MT, and Mr. Basri Noor Cahyadi, M.Si. are the figures behind the Dome team's actions. With extensive experience and knowledge, the coaches guide and encourage the team to produce superior and reliable robots. The cold hands of the three of them for years in becoming coaches of LSO Robotics have also successfully led Dome UMM to be the best in the National arena.

The achievements of the UMM Dome robotics team are a matter of pride for the University of Muhammadiyah Malang and also for Indonesia. They show that the knowledge and potential of technology and robotics is growing rapidly in Indonesia. This success also encourages the spirit of innovation and research of students and inspires the younger generation to further develop their skills in future technology.

The Indonesian SAR Robot Competition is a prestigious event in the world of robotics and this year is not only a competition between teams, but also a place for cooperation, sharing information, and expanding the network of participants. This competition is an opportunity for young Indonesian innovators to showcase their talents and encourage the development of technology that can provide real benefits to society.
